I can’t believe how fast time is flying! Tomorrow is April? Really? Well tornado season has started here in good ol’ Oklahoma! We have chances of thunderstorms all this week. Which means… 🙂 It’ll be okay though! The weather is warmer and things are bright! This week we had some SWEET lessons. With Gerda, we taught the Plan of Salvation. She has struggled with this one the other 2 times she’s heard it, but with the help of the Spirit we were able to help her understand! It was so cool…at the end of the lesson you could just see her eyes light up as she read 1 Corinthians 15. She now loves the Plan of Salvation. Gerda is SO ready for it! Her husband isn’t fully agreeing yet, and he’s in Texas for a military training until September. They talk about it a lot, so we’re hoping to see some miracles there! We also visited with Bria, one of our new investigators. We also taught her the Plan of Salvation. She is praying about a baptismal date of May 3rd! She is amazing! I felt really blessed this week as I have been working and thinking about our roles as missionaries. It is so cool to see that moment when it all just clicks and they get it! The Spirit witnesses to them that it is true!
Sister Smith took me to a Greek restaurant this week, and it was sooo good! We ordered gyros! My first one! It’s funny in Lawton all the random places there are to eat and see. Who would’ve thought!
Our Zone Conference this week focused on the Atonement. It was really good too! The Stake President of the Lawton stake came and spoke. He is really nice and has a good vision for this stake.
Yesterday, we got to decorate cakes with Sister Marks, a member of the ward. She is professional! It was a blast! 🙂 It was for her son’s birthday! 27th…birthday…haha.
I am just so grateful to be here! I love missions! They are so rewarding yet so hard! I can’t even explain it! Sorry for the short e-mail! Lots to do today! Love you all so much!
